PSG ponder Higuain swoop

French giants Paris Saint-Germain will look to beat the likes of Chelsea and Arsenal to the services of Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain this summer.

The Argentina international had been recently linked with a move to the Premier League with the Blues interested in landing his signature.

However, according to Gazzetta dello Sport, Les Parisiens are mulling over a bid for the 28-year-old, who has been a consistent performer in the Serie A.

The report adds that the Argentine hitman is regarded as the ideal replacement for Zlatan Ibrahimovic whose contract is due to expire at the end of the current campaign.

Higuain is currently valued at around £35m.
