Graziano Pelle eyes Italy return

Southampton striker Graziano Pelle is eager to return to his homeland with AC Milan at the end of the season.

The Italy international joined the Saints from Feyenoord last season, and had a great influence in the club's Premier League campaign.

However, his second year has turned to be below-par with injuries hampering his chances of featuring in the first-team.

The Star reports that the 30-year-old will look to make a switch back to Italy with the Rossoneri among the leading clubs vying for his services.

Pelle has scored just seven goals for the South Coast outfit this term.
