Bayern Munich have agreed a deal to sign 18-year-old wonderkid Ousmane Dembélé from Rennes, according to BeIN Sport.

The young French forward has been in exhilarating form since making his senior debut earlier this season. An impressive return of 10 goals from just 19 Ligue 1 games has led to Dembélé being linked with a host of elite European clubs, with the likes of Barcelona and Manchester United among those to have sent scouts to assess the Rennes prodigy.

It now appears that German champions Bayern Munich have won the race to secure Dembélé's services, having agreed a deal with Rennes that will see the youngster loaned back to the French club for the 2016-17 season, before making the move to Bavaria.

Dembélé's star has risen rapidly over the past few months due to some extraordinary performances in France. The young attacker's versatility -- comfortable on the left- or right-side of the attack, as well as through the middle -- is undoubtedly one of his strongest assets. There has also been some speculation over whether Dembélé will figure in national team boss Didier Deschamps's plans for Euro 2016.

As well as the deal for Dembélé, BeIN Sport are also reporting that Bayern will decide against taking up their option to sign Kingsley Coman on a permanent deal from Juventus.

Coman, 19, currently on loan with 25-time German champions, has been impressive so far this season. Bayern have the option of signing the former PSG youngster for €28m once his loan period expires. Having recently made a vital contribution to their passage into the Champions League quarter-final at the expense of his parent club, it would seem strange that Bayern have already made up their mind not to secure Coman's services long-term.
