Real Madrid to sell Morata to Arsenal
La Liga giants Real Madrid will reportedly activate Alvaro Morata's £24m buy-out clause this summer before selling him to Arsenal for £40m. The 23-year-old has developed into a top-class footballer since his move to Juventus.
The Spain international joined the Old Lady from the Bernabeu last season with Real retaining the option of reacquiring his services in the future.
According to Spanish source AS, the former European champions will exercise the £24m buy-out clause in the player's contract this summer following his impressive showing in Turin.
It is added that Real will put the player up for sale therein with the Gunners open to offering as much as £40m to land the talented marksman.
