Alexandre Pato eyes Chelsea stay

Brazilian forward Alexandre Pato has told his agent that he would like to extend his stay at Stamford Bridge into next season. The forward nicknamed "The Duck" has found first team opportunity limited so far this season.

Pato is currently on loan at Chelsea from Corinthians and this deal will expire in June. The striker does not want to return to Brazil though and appears to be settled in London.

According to reports, Pato has asked his agent to ensure that a deal be pushed through prior to the summer so that his future in the English capital is sorted.

Turkish club Galatasaray are also closely monitoring Pato's situation, should incoming manager Antonio Conte not want to take up his transfer option on the striker.
