Everton chasing Loris Karius

Everton have earmarked Mainz 05 goalkeeper Loris Karius as the ideal replacement for outbound star Tim Howard.

The Toffees are expected to bring in a new shot-stopper this summer with Howard having secured a move to MLS side Colorado Rapids.

According to The People, manager Roberto Martinez has put up his shortlist for the transfer window, and Karius is the top player on his radar.

The 22-year-old has been in top form for the Bundesliga side this season, and this has caught the attention of several Premier League clubs.

The former Germany under-21 international is valued at £10m by Mainz.
