Guardiola eyeing Marquinhos signing
Incoming Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is eager to bring in Paris Saint-Germain defender Marquinhos as his first signing for the summer. The Brazil international has had a tough time at Parc des Princes with manager Laurent Blanc reluctant to offer him a regular starting berth.
Recent speculation has suggested that the French champions could be open to the player's departure, should they find a suitable player to swap from the opposite club.
Guardiola is expected to ring in the changes at the Etihad in the summer, and according to TF1, the Citizens would be willing to offer at least two of their fringe players in a desperate attempt to land the young centre-half.
The likes of Yaya Toure, Jesus Navas, Aleksandar Kolarov are among the top names who could leave the Etihad this summer.
Marquinhos is also said to be a top transfer target for league rivals Chelsea.
