Chelsea in Javier Pastore talks

Chelsea have reportedly began negotiations with Paris Saint-Germain playmaker Javier Pastore ahead of a summer move for his services. The Argentine footballer has been linked with a switch to West London last year before he penned a long-term contract at Parc des Princes.

Since then, the 26-year-old has struggled to earn a regular role in the first-team with manager Laurent Blanc favouring the likes of Lucas Moura, Marco Verratti and Angel di Maria ahead of him in the pecking order.

According to Get France Football News, the Blues have began initial talks with the player's agent in a bid to land his signature ahead of their league rivals.

Liverpool and Manchester United have also been credited with interest for the talented attacker.

Pastore made just nine league starts for the French champions this season.
