Liverpool prepare El Ghazi bid

Premier League side Liverpool are considering a summer approach for Ajax winger Anwar El Ghazi. The 21-year-old is regarded as a potential replacement for want-away youngster Jordan Ibe.

Ibe, 20, is widely expected to seek a fresh challenge away from Merseyside after he fell below the pecking order under Jurgen Klopp.

According to The Mirror, the Reds will step up their efforts to land El Ghazi following his impressive showing in the Dutch league this season.

However, the club are likely to face stiff competition with the likes of Everton and Stoke City also vying for the player's signature.

The Dutchman has notched 11 goals and two assists in the Eredivisie this season.
