Mourinho wants Ozil at Man Utd

Jose Mourinho will seek to pursue a deal for Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil, should he take over the reigns at Manchester United in the summer.

The Portuguese head coach has been tipped to replace Louis van Gaal at the helm despite the club's improved run in recent months.

Italian publication Tuttomercato says the 'Special One' is eager to be reunited with the German international, a player with whom he had a great relationship at Real Madrid.

However, the Gunners are likely to resist any offers for their star man given they are in a good financial position themselves to bolster their squad in the summer.

Ozil has had an impressive season with the Gunners netting eight goals and 19 assists in all competitions.
