Chelsea prepare Koulibaly approach
Chelsea are weighing up a bid for Napoli star Kalidou Koulibaly despite John Terry signing a contract extension yesterday.
Terry, 35, is said to have taken a huge pay-cut to extend his stay at Stamford Bridge for the 2016/17 campaign.
Sky Italia says the Blues are preparing an offer for Senegalese footballer Koulibaly after new boss Antonio Conte earmarked the centre-back as his prime target for the summer.
The report adds that Napoli would have no problem in replacing Koulibaly with River Plate youngster Emanuel Mammana lined up as his replacement.
It will be interesting to see whether Koulibaly favours a move to West London given he will have no European competition to ply his trade in next season.
