Liverpool leading Ben Chilwell race
Liverpool are set to beat Arsenal to the services of Leicester City full-back Ben Chilwell this summer. The 19-year-old had been on the Gunners radar in January but a deal failed to materialise.
Chilwell is regarded as one of the best upcoming youth prospects from the English game.
The Mirror says the Reds are closing in on a £3m deal for the left-back after they agreed personal terms with the player over the proposed move.
Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is said to have guaranteed Chilwell a meaningful role in the first-team, and this has lured him from the Foxes who are set to play Champions League football next season.
The youngster has yet to make an appearance in the top flight.
