Tottenham eyeing Shane Long deal
Tottenham Hotspur could be planning a summer move for Southampton striker Shane Long after manager Mauricio Pochettino was spotted watching the player during Ireland's friendly against the Netherlands.
Long, 29, scored the only goal for his national side as they drew 1-1 against Holland in a preparation game ahead of their challenge at Euro 2016.
According to The Telegraph, Pochettino was in attendance alongside Long's representative to watch the performance, thus revealing Spurs' interest in the Saints marksman.
The North London giants are on the look out for a new centre-forward this summer as they seek to reduce some of the goal-scoring burden on Harry Kane, who was simply sensational through the previous season.
Long amassed 10 goals in 26 league appearances for Ronald Koeman's team last term.
