Leicester want Victor Wanyama

Southampton midfielder Victor Wanyama has been eyed up as a potential replacement for N'Golo Kante at Leicester City. The English champions are set to have a fight on their hands with some of their top performers on the move.

According to The Star, the Foxes are preparing to have a spending spree of their own with the pressure of the Premier League and Champions League football likely to take the toll next season.

It is added that Wanyama is the priority target for the holders with Kante set to seek fresh pastures elsewhere over the transfer window.

Midfielder Riyad Mahrez and striker Jamie Vardy are also among the players weighing up moves away from the King Power Stadium.
