Liverpool given price for Croatian sensation

Liverpool are weighing up a bid for Real Madrid midfielder Mateo Kovacic. The Croatian is set to be on the move after he failed to cement a regular role at the Bernabeu last season.

According to The Mirror, the Reds can get their hands on the young starlet this summer, should they table a bid of around £24m for his signature.

The European champions have already snubbed a loan approach from AS Roma thus giving a clear indication that they would cash in on the player in the transfer window.

Kovacic made just eight league starts for the Spanish giants following his move from Inter Milan last year.
