Arsenal to land Mario Gotze ?

Arsenal are mulling over an approach for German international Mario Gotze. The World Cup winner is also a transfer target for Liverpool.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is on the search for a new centre-forward after Jamie Vardy opted to pen a extension at Leicester City.
According to The Mail, the North London outfit could come up with a bid for 24-year-old Gotze, who has featured in as the 'false 9' in recent games for his national side.
Liverpool have been deemed front-runners to land the German attacker, but the lure of Champions League football may well entice the player to a move to the Emirates.
Napoli's Gonzalo Higuain and Real Madrid's Alvaro Morata are also on the Gunners' shortist for the summer.
Gotze is currently valued at around £20m.
