Chelsea to sign Michy Batshuayi
Marseille striker Michy Batshuayi is closing in on a dream move to Stamford Bridge. The Belgian is known to have snubbed interest from London rivals Tottenham Hotspur and Crystal Palace.
The 22-year-old has been in high demand over the past month following an impressive season with Marseille that saw him net 23 goals in all competitions.
Recent speculation suggested that Palace could fight it out with Spurs for Batshuayi after they had a £31.5m bid accepted.
However, according to The Guardian, it is the Blues who are in cruise control of the situation having tabled a £33.2m offer in the last couple of hours.
Batshuayi also prefers a move to the West London giants, and a deal will be finalized once he arrives from his Euro 2016 duty with Belgium.
The youngster will be Antonio Conte's first signing as Chelsea head coach.
