Arsenal ready massive bid for Alvaro Morata
Arsenal are preparing a huge offer for Real Madrid frontman Alvaro Morata. The 23-year-old recently returned to Los Blancos after they activated the £23.4m buy-back clause placed in his Juventus sale two years ago.
Spanish source AS says the European champions will look to offload their graduate for a decent profit over the summer as he is not in the club's plans for the future.
It is added that the Gunners could lodge a mega bid for the player with London rivals Chelsea yet to sort out an agreement with the Bernabeu outfit.
The Blues, currently managed by Antonio Conte, are thought to have registered their interest early on, but the transfer sum still remains under discussion.
The striker is likely to demand wages of £140,000-a-week which is nearly double of what he is currently earning.
Morata was part of the Spain national side that were ousted by Italy in the round of 16 of the European championships.
