Graziano Pelle on Chelsea radar
Chelsea are set to step up their pursuit for Southampton striker Graziano Pelle. The Blues have already the completed the signing of Michy Batshuayi from Marseille this summer.
Blues boss Antonio Conte is keen on securing the services of Pelle who fared well under his Italian management which ended with a penalty shoot-out loss to Germany at Euro 2016.
According to the London Evening Standard, the 30-year-old will be the subject of a transfer approach from the Blues in the coming days.
The report goes on to state that the player could be allowed to leave St.Mary's given he is in the final year of his contract.
The South Coast outfit have continued their trend of offloading key players with Victor Wanyama and Sadio Mane being the latest to pursue their careers elsewhere.
Pelle has netted 30 goals in 81 outings for the Saints since joining from Feyenoord in 2014.
