Sven sets European target
Sven sets European target
Man City boss Sven-Goran Eriksson has set his City side the target of European football this season. City were in the top four for some time but have slipped out of the Champions League mix up after a run of poor results.
Man City finished 14th last season and are really beginning to impress in the Premiership this year.
"It would be wrong to say that fourth place is our target and everything else is bad," said Eriksson.
"It can't be like that because I think we've been doing very well so far.
"We should be very happy if we play in Europe next season.
"Of course we're going to try and take the fourth place but if we don't we shouldn't be too depressed."
