Middlesbrough snap up goalkeeper Brad Guzan

Middlesbrough have moved quickly to sign Brad Guzan from Aston Villa on a free transfer. The American international shot stopper has signed a two year contract with the newly promoted Premier League side.
Boro have already secured the signing of Victor Valdes but manager Aitor Karanka wants to bring in further competition for the number 1 jersey at the Riverside and has snapped up the experienced Guzan, beating the likes of Burnley and several MLS teams for the agreement.
It is expected that Guzan will link up with his new teammates who are currently on pre-season tour next week.
