Everton to sign Ashley Williams

Everton manager Ronald Koeman is to complete a deal to sign Ashley Williams from Swansea City. The Toffees have agreed a 10 million GBP deal for the Welsh international centre back.

Koeman will bring in Williams as a replacement for the outbound John Stones, who is being linked with a move to Manchester City.

Swansea City manager Huw Jenkins is said to have instructed his manager Francesco Guidolin to rebuild the squad in preparation for the upcoming season and Williams will be amongst the players allowed to leave for pastures new.

Everton are reportedly on the verge of agreeing a huge transfer deal to sell John Stones and want to move quickly to replace the England international with Williams.
