Wilhelmsson to Bolton
Wilhelmsson to Bolton
Christian Wilhelmsson has finally arrived in the Premiership. In recent years Middlesbrough, Tottenham, Everton and Man City had shown an interest, but it appears that Sammy Lee's Bolton have won the race for his signature.
The Swedish international winger had spent the last season on loan at Roma from Nantes, but Bolton have agreed a loan deal with the French side with an option to make the deal permanent. Wilhelmsson, also known as Chippen, has been capped by the Swedish international team 43 times. His pacey style of play will be well suited to the Premiership.
