McCormack joins Villa

Aston Villa have completed the signing of Ross McCormack from Fulham on a four year deal.
Sky Sports News reported on Wednesday that McCormack undertook a medical in the West Midlands after an agreement was reached between the clubs at the beginning of the week. It is understood that Roberto Di Matteo will pay up 12 million for the striker, potentially rising to 14 million. Norwich City were also interested in the McCormack and had a bid of 10 million accepted after two earlier offers were rejected.
McCormack signed for Fulham in 2014 from Leeds United. In an excellent record for Fulham he scored 42 goals in 100 games. Fulham commenting on the departure of the striker said 'We would like to thank Ross for his contributions during his two years at Craven Cottage, and wish him the best of luck at Villa.
Villa begin their Championship season on Sunday evening with an away trip Sheffield Wednesday.
