Everton have began negotiations with Romelu Lukaku over a fresh contract amid strong interest from Chelsea. The striker has iterated his desire to join a top European club this summer.
According to The Express, the Toffees representatives will hold talks with agent Mino Raiola whilst he is in England to finalize Paul Pogba's move to Manchester United.
New owner Farhad Moshiri is desperate to keep hold of the 23-year-old as he bids to transform the Toffees into a Champions League club in years to come.
Lukaku has impressed in his three-year spell at Everton, and manager Ronald Koeman would be hoping that he would play a key role in the club's progress.
