Loic Remy to join Crystal Palace?

Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew has been in contact with representatives of Chelsea striker Loic Remy and is hoping to wrap up a loan deal for the Frenchman before the end of the August transfer window. Remy is currently fourth choice forward at Stamford Bridge.

Remy, the former Newcastle United striker, has two years remaining on his Blues contract and has been linked with a move to France on three separate occasions this summer but a deal has failed to materialise.

Crystal Palace are to table a loan offer for Remy and are confident that an agreement can be reached.

The forward is said to be desperate to make a move away from Chelsea during the transfer window.
