Mangala to leave Man City for Napoli
Eliaquim Mangala will make a loan transfer deal to Napoli this week. The French centre back has struggled at the City of Manchester Stadium since his arrival from Porto two years ago.
Manager Pep Guardiola has brought in John Stones this month to add further defensive cover to his squad and Mangala is believed to be surplus to requirements at the Etihad.
Napoli had been interested in a permanent transfer but were quoted a reported 42.5 million euros and have instead favoured a 3.8 million euro a season loan fee for the centre back.
Mangala's agent will meet with Man City representatives tomorrow to discuss his client's future.
