Everton confident of Brahimi deal
Everton are apparently heading the queue to sign Porto midfielder Yacine Brahimi. The Algerian international was previously on the radar of Arsenal and Liverpool.
Brahimi, 26, is thought to be keen on a Premier League move this summer, and this has urged the Toffees to lodge a bid for his services.
According to The Mirror, the Toffees have tabled an opening £25.5m offer for the attacker, but the fee still remains well short of the Dragon's valuation.
The Primeira outfit are currently demanding a sum in excess of £35m for Brahimi as they owe about 50 percent of any future fee to a third party that has a stake in the player.
Nevertheless, Ronald Koeman's side are confident that a deal can be struck with the Algerian having set his sights on a switch to Goodison Park.
Brahimi has notched 21 goals in 85 outings for Porto since arriving from Granada in the summer of 2014.
