Cuadrado rejoins Juventus on loan

Chelsea winger Juan Cuadrado has finally got his wish to return to Juventus. The Colombian will spend the next three seasons on loan with the Serie A holders.

The 28-year-old was tipped to make way from Stamford Bridge all summer after he iterated his desire to pursue a career away from the Premier League.

The Old Lady were in constant communications with the West London giants in recent weeks, and it is now official that they have secured the player's signature on a bizarre three-year loan contract, something which is unheard of.

Cuadrado joined the Blues from Italian side Fiorentina in January 2015, and played a small part in their league success.

In the season which followed, he fell out-of-favour under former boss Jose Mourinho, and was subsequently shipped out to Juventus on a 12-month loan deal, where he had much success.

The attacker had the option of linking with AC Milan earlier this month, but the chance of rejoining the Turin giants was just too good to ignore.
