Nantes target Mathieu Flamini

Former Arsenal defender Mathieu Flamini has apparently received a contract offer from French minnows Nantes. The 32-year-old is also a transfer target for Crystal Palace.
Flamini is currently on the search for a fresh club after he was released from the Emirates at the end of the previous campaign.
According to Ouest France, the experienced campaigner has been offered a return to his homeland with Nantes key on securing his services.
However, they will face competition from Palace, whose manager Alan Pardew recently met up with the Frenchman to discuss a possible move to Selhurst Park.
The midfielder is open to a fresh challenge in the English capital, but he will consider all options before deciding on his next club.
Palace have identified Flamini as the ideal replacement for Mile Jedinak, who left for Aston Villa in the summer transfer window.
