Martin Caceres attracting Premier League interest
Premier League clubs Southampton, Sunderland, Swansea City and West Bromwich Albion are all in the running to sign free-agent Martin Caceres. The Uruguayan is out-of-contract after he opted against a fresh deal at Juventus.
Caceres had his playing time restricted at the Old Lady due to a series of injuries which have affected his progress over the years.
The People says the 29-year-old could find himself playing in England with interest high among several top flight clubs.
Caceres has the potential to play across the defence, and he would be an ideal addition to whichever team he decides to join in the near future.
London giants Chelsea have also been credited with interest for the Uruguay international with manager Antonio Conte keen on a reunion with the player with whom he had a good relationship with in Turin.
