Mourinho wants Lucas Moura at Man Utd

Manchester United will make a winter move for Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Lucas Moura, according to his agent.The Brazil international came close to joining the Red Devils from Sao Paulo in 2012 before former boss Alex Ferguson pulled the plug on the proposed deal.

He followed to join Les Parisiens in January 2013 and has since appeared in over 165 outings in all competitions.

Agent Ribeiro has now revealed Mourinho had kept tabs on his client during time at Real Madrid but a deal never materialized.

“Who called Lucas Moura there (Madrid), who wanted Lucas Moura wasn't Florentino (Perez).It was Mourinho," he told ESPN Brasil.

He added that the Special One still remains a big fan of the attacker, and he will do his utmost to recruit his services in the New Year.

The 24-year-old has been rather a league specialist for the French giants, but with the appointment of coach Unai Emery, he may get his chance to impress at the European stage.
