Ronald Koeman open to Lukaku exit?
Everton boss Ronald Koeman has surprisingly admitted that Romelu Lukaku could leave his side in the future. The Dutchman feels the striker is too good to be playing for Everton.
Lukaku, 23, was the subject of strong interest from Chelsea and Manchester United in the summer, before he opted to stay put with the Merseysiders for at least one more season.
In a report on BBC Sport, Koeman insisted that the Belgian international may have to leave Goodison Park one day in order to fulfil his ambition of being a world-class striker.
The former Anderlecht graduate has been a consistent goalscorer for the Toffees over the years, but the lack of domestic success is one which could lure him to an elite club in Europe.
Everton are currently seventh in the league standings following a 5-0 hammering at the hands of Chelsea at Stamford Bridge last weekend.
