Man Utd target Elseid Hysaj

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is reportedly weighing up a winter move for Napoli defender Elseid Hysaj. The 22-year-old was a transfer target for Arsenal in the summer transfer window.

Hysaj, who represented Albania at Euro 2016, made 43 appearances for the Naples outfit last term following his move from Empoli.

Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Arsenal have all been previously credited with interest for the full-back, but according to II Mattino, the Red Devils are favourites to pursue the player's signature in the New Year.

Napoli only recently committed the right-back to a fresh five-year contract, and this is likely to urge them to demand fees of around £40m for their asset.

Mourinho is desperate to reinforce the right side of the defence in January with Matteo Darmian tipped to seal a return to the Serie A.
