Hector Bellerin pens long-term deal at Arsenal

Bellerin to remain at Arsenal until 2023

Hector Bellerin has reportedly signed a fresh six-and-a-half year deal with Arsenal. The Spain international will pocket wages of around £100,000 a week in his new contract.

The 21-year-old was believed to be close to inking an extension last week after manager Arsene Wenger confirmed that talks were at an advanced stage.

According to The London Evening Standard, the former La Masia student has committed his future to the Emirates until June 2023 after he was offered a long-term contract on a substantial wage rise.

The right-back was linked with the likes of Manchester City and Barcelona over the past month, but he has now shown his ambition to progress at the North London giants.

Bellerin has earned over 60 league outings for Arsenal since making his breakthrough in the 2014-15 season.
