Chelsea to move for Bundesliga defender

Chelsea will reportedly renew their pursuit for Hoffenheim star Niklas Sule when the transfer window reopens in a months' time. The German international was a transfer target for the Blues in the summer.

Blues boss Antonio Conte is keen on landing a new centre-back in the New Year despite the club's excellent start to the league campaign.

Sule, 21, was linked with a possible move to Stamford Bridge during the previous transfer window, and according to ESPN, the Blues will revive their interest in the player in the New Year.

The young defender is well known for his commanding presence in the box, and this is an attribute that has captured the attention of Conte.

League rivals Everton are also believed to be interested in the German, who has appeared over 90 times for Hoffenheim.
