Jack Wilshere hints at new Arsenal contract

England international Jack Wilshere is hopeful of earning a fresh contract at Arsenal through his hard work with Bournemouth this season.

The 24-year-old is currently on a season-long loan with the Cherries where he bids to regain his old form following a series of injuries.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Wilshere insisted that his current focus is with Eddie Howe's side where he hopes to put up a string of impressive performances.

He added that he is keeping tabs on his contractual situation at the Emirates and would be in a strong position to discuss his future come the end of the season.

Wilshere has been a regular for Bournemouth this term ever since his deadline day switch from Arsenal in the summer. His showing at the South Coast has recently earned a recall to the England national side.
