West Ham plot Marouane Fellaini loan

West Ham United are prepared to lodge a loan attempt for unsettled Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini. The Belgian international has been in-and-out of the starting lineup this season.
Fellaini, 29, has struggled to live up to his expectations since arriving at Old Trafford from Everton in the summer of 2013.
According to The London Evening Standard, the Hammers are eyeing a short-term deal for the midfield anchorman following their lacklustre start to the new campaign.
The Hammers are currently just a point off the relegation zone, and their poor run could see them drop into the bottom three before the turn of the year.
Apart from the Belgian, Chelsea's Asmir Begovic is the other on the Hammers radar as they seek to add more experience between the sticks.
Fellaini has been recently criticised by the club's faithful following his ridiculous foul on Idrissa Gueye in the box which cost his side a valuable league win at Everton last weekend.
