Everton open to Tom Cleverley offers
Everton are reportedly prepared to cash in on the services of midfielder Tom Cleverley in the New Year. The England international has had limited playing time under Ronald Koeman this season.
Cleverley, 27, has made just four league starts for the Toffees, one of which was in the 5-0 mauling by Chelsea at Stamford Bridge earlier last month.
According to The Mirror, the former Manchester United graduate will be shown the exit door in 2017 with a host of unnamed English clubs deemed to be interested in his signature.
Cleverley has not quite made the mark with the opportunities in hand, and it is believed Koeman will seek to replace him with a marquee signing next month.
Everton were dealt a huge blow earlier this week after it was confirmed that Yannick Bolasie would be ruled out for the campaign after sustaining a serious knee injury against Manchester United on Sunday.
