Milan giants target Mamadou Sakho
AC Milan and Inter Milan are both in the running to sign Liverpool outcast Mamadou Sakho in the January transfer window.
The France international has been frozen out of the first-team squad ever since his poor behaviour in the pre-season of the United States, where he was sent back.
According to Calciomercato, the Frenchman could earn an escape route to the Serie A with the Milan duo keen on his signature.
Sakho was initially expected to leave Anfield in the summer, before he opted to stay put in order to fight for his position under Klopp.
Since then, He has struggled to make any impression, and he is now spending his time in the reserves in order to improve his fitness.
The 26-year-old has already snubbed interest from several Ligue 1 clubs, and this could see him pursue a fresh challenge in the Serie A.
Sakho last featured for the Reds in a 2-1 league win over Bournemouth in April before he was given a drugs ban which has since been overtuned.
