Pablo Zabaleta unsure of Man City future
Manchester City defender Pablo Zabaleta insists that he is not worried about his future despite being in the final year of his contract. The Argentine has had limited playing time under Pep Guardiola this season.
Zabaleta, 31, has been an influential player for the Citizens since arriving from Espanyol eight years ago.
While being questioned on his future, the right-back admitted that he is unsure where his commitment would lie in the summer, but he is focused on the job in hand at the Etihad.
"I know that at the end of the season we need to decide about my future. Maybe now after half of the season it's better to keep working hard and try to give my best for the team," he told reporters.
Zabaleta scored his first goal in almost two years in midweek as Manchester City earned a much-needed 2-0 win over Watford in the Premier League.
