Arsenal to loan out Rob Holding
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is reportedly open to loan offers for young defender Rob Holding. The England Under-21 international joined the Gunners from Bolton Wanderers in the summer.
According to The Mirror, Wenger would entertain the prospect of letting Holding go in January with a number of Championship clubs vying for his services.
Holding, 21, has impressed with the limited chances in hand at the Emirates, but the manager feels a temporary move would benefit the player's progress.
Club-captain Per Mertesacker is set to be back into the mix at the turn of the year, and this is one reason as to why Holding could pursue a short-term stint away from North London.
Holding has managed to make seven starts for Arsenal following his debut which came in a 4-3 loss to Liverpool on the opening day of the season.
