Angel di Maria content at PSG

Argentine footballer Angel di Maria has insisted that he is 'very happy' at Paris Saint-Germain despite the ongoing speculation over his future. The former Manchester United man has been linked with a potential switch to the Chinese Super League.

Di Maria has not been in the best of form in Ligue 1 this season, and this suggested that he could be lured to the Far East where he would earn a bumper salary.

However, the World Cup finalist has revealed that he is content with his progress in the French capital, and he is hopeful of lifting the Champions League crown with his present employers.

"Everybody has their own different way of thinking. People can have the desire to go and play in China. It is obvious that with the amounts of money on offer that some people can be attracted to that," he told ESPN.

"However, not in my case, I prefer to stay here, be happy and reach the objective I set for myself, to come to Paris and win the Champions League."

Di Maria was previously said to be unhappy with Unai Emery's handling of his squad, but it appears that he has sorted the issue.
