Inter Milan to bid for Sergio Aguero
Inter Milan are planning to step up their pursuit for Sergio Aguero in the summer transfer window. The Argentine has three-and-a-half years left on his Manchester City contract.
Aguero, 28, has already netted 18 goals in all competitions for Manchester City this season despite being in a shaky form of late.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Nerazzurri will revive their interest in Aguero this summer with the club's hierarchy keen to add world-class striker to their ranks.
Mauro Icardi has been the key orchestrator for the San Siro outfit in recent seasons, and the club are now looking to sign his fellow compatriot in order to form a deadly pairing up front.
Citizens boss Pep Guardiola recently confirmed that his side had activated a clause to extend Aguero's stay until 2020, but this will not deter the Nerazzurri from lodging a tempting offer for the marksman in the summer.
The 28-year-old has amassed 154 goals for Manchester City in all competitions since arriving from Atletico Madrid in the summer of 2011.
