Juventus defender Dani Alves has reportedly been offered a £160,000 weekly package in order to join Shanghai SIPG this month.

Alves, 33, joined the Serie A holders on a Bosman last summer following eight successful seasons with Barcelona.

According to Sky Sports News, the Brazil international has emerged as the latest target for Shanghai SIPG in the January transfer window.

The Chinese giants are prepared to table a £160,000-a-week contract for the full-back as they seek to unite him with fellow compatriots Hulk and Oscar.

Hulk joined the Asian big spenders from Zenit St.Petersburg at the start of the season whilst Oscar recently linked up with the club after he failed to cement a regular berth at Chelsea.

Shanghai SIPG have been on the search for the best talents from around the Europe, but they will be restricted to playing just three foreign players on the pitch at any one time, as per the latest ruling from the Chinese Football Association.
