Mathieu Debuchy free to leave Arsenal - Wenger
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has insisted that Mathieu Debuchy is free to pick a new club after playing just 16 minutes of league football this season.
The France international joined the Gunners from Newcastle United in the summer of 2014 and has since been hampered with a series of injuries.
Debuchy is currently behind the likes of Hector Bellerin and Gabriel for the right-back role and Wenger appears to suggest that his compatriot could leave the club before the transfer deadline.
"I didn't close the door because there's a lot of competition on the right flank," he told The Mirror. "What I just want to say is [Debuchy] is fully fit now and so he is available to play and maybe even to have an experience somewhere else."
Debuchy is said to have a shrewd relationship with Wenger following the club's reluctance to let him go over the summer.
