Ulloa On Strike
Leicester City striker Leonardo Ulloa has sensationally claimed that he will never play again for the Premier League Champions in a bid to push for a move away from the King Power Stadium.
In a story that has been brewing for the majority of this transfer window, Argentinian Ulloa has become frustrated as he looks for a move away from Leicester due to a lack of football whilst manager Claudio Ranieri has refused to let him go unless their valuation of him is met.
Ulloa joined The Foxes in 2014 for a fee of £8 million, going on to score 18 goals in 41 appearances for the current champions. He is predominantly used as a substitute by Ranieri, who is reluctant to see his striker leave. The 30 year old forward has become irritated by this, as he is determined to be allowed to leave and establish himself in the starting line up of another Premier League, with Sunderland rumoured to be interested.
On Monday evening, Ulloa shared his frustration publicly, tweeting:
"With all respect to LCFC Fans, I feel betrayed by Ranieri and let down by the club. I will not play for them again..."
This tactic used by Ulloa may be enough to see Leicester cut their losses and accept a reduced offer for him, however should they hold out for an offer that matches their valuation for the Argentine, which may not come, it could lead to a very awkward situation for the wantaway striker.
