Chelsea in shock bid for Edin Dzeko?

Chelsea are rumoured to be in the race to sign former Man City striker Edin Dzeko at the end of the season. Dzeko has been impressive since his arrival at his current club AS Roma.

According to a report from Italy, Dzeko has been in contact with his agent regarding a surprise move back to the Premier League with the current league leaders.

It is understood that Chelsea are prepared to pay upwards of 10 million euros to swoop for the Bosnia and Herzegovina international, who has been in insatiable form so far this campaign.

With over two years of his Roma contract remaining, it is expected that Roma will push out the price should they let the striker leave the club.
