Zidane favours Courtois, Lloris ahead of De Gea

Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane is reportedly not in favour of his side's long-time pursuit of Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea.

The Spain international came close to joining Los Blancos on transfer deadline day in 2015 before a delay in paperwork scuppered the deal.

Since then, the shot-stopper has inked a four-year contract at Old Trafford with the option of an additional year if need be.

According to Diario Gol, Zidane is not impressed by Florentino Perez's desire to bring De Gea to the Bernabeu, and would rather focus on his preferred targets.

Chelsea ace Thibaut Courtois is said to be the top option on Zidane's mind whilst Tottenham Hotspur's Hugo Lloris has been identified as the potential backup option.

De Gea is alleged to have stalled over a fresh contract at Old Trafford with the club yet to assure him of Champions League for the next campaign.
