Arsenal forward heading to Marseille?
Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud has been again linked with a move to Marseille despite quelling the speculation earlier in the campaign. The France international signed a new two-and-a-half year contract with the Gunners last month.
Giroud, 30, has been a regular on the substitutes' bench for much of the campaign, and his situation appears to have caught the attention of Les Phoceens.
Tribal Football claims that the Frenchman will be offered the chance to return to Ligue 1 in the summer with Les Phoceens set to go on a spending spree under the new ownership of Frank McCourt.
The French outfit showed their spending might during the winter period where they resigned Dimitri Payet from West Ham United on a £25m deal, and Giroud could be the next on their radar.
Giroud has netted 93 goals in 211 outings for Arsenal since arriving as a Ligue 1 champion from Montpellier in the summer of 2012.
